Sheryl has been practicing massage since 2000, when she attended the School of Healing Arts in San Diego, CA.  She was particularly drawn to Ayurvedic massage because of the flowing movements involved, and she incorporates some of these techniques in her Swedish style massage.  When she moved to Ashland in 2002, she took a break from bodywork to have babies, who are now 4 and 6 years old.    She then attended the Ashland Institute of Massage and discovered Thai Massage, which shares elements of the Ayurvedic style, and has similar roots in yoga tradition.   She spent the next year attending workshops and trainings with D'vorah Swarzman in Thai Massage and plans on deepening her study and practice of this incredible style of bodywork.  It feels like an extension of her passion for sharing movement, body awareness, and healing through yoga, and allows her to freely express her nurturing through deep therapeutic touch.
